====== European Grand Prix 2025 ====== The European Grand Prix (EGP) aims to connect diplomacy players across Europe and reward those players that excel throughout the year. The EGP combines the results of diplomacy tournaments in Europe as well as the Tour of Britain and Seven Year War league to determine the winner of the EGP circuit. Furthermore, we encourage all organisers that are part of the EGP to take measures to improve the wellbeing of players, such as the installment of a code of conduct, the appointment of wellbeing officer that assists the Tournament Director and the application of the following hierarchy of priorities: * Highest: The safety of attendees (and other people we may share the space with). * Second: The community of Diplomacy players. * Third: The fairness and competitiveness of the event. ====== Competitions included ====== It will consider 3 tiers of competition * **Tier A:** EDC & WDC * **Tier B**: 7YW & main tournament of any country at the reserve it has at least 5 boards and 14 players * **Tier C**: ToB & secondary tournament of any country and main tournament of any country which does not make the requisite of tier B The following tournaments will, if held, be part of the EGP in 2025: ==== Played Competition ==== * **C** Spirecon, hosted 7-9 February in Chesterfield, UK ==== Announced competitions ==== * **B** **Netherlands Diplomacy Championship** **website**, hosted 10-11 May in Groningen, NL * **C** **Regenscon** **website** hosted 27-29 June in Regensburg, DE * **B** **French Diplomacy Championship**, hosted 12-14 July in Anjou, FR * **B** **Norsk Diplomacy Mesterskap** website, Oslo, 26-27 July * **B** **Swiss Diplomacy Championship** **Website**, hosted 6-7 September in Valais, CH * **B** **UK Diplomacy Championship**, hosted 19-21 September in Warrington, UK * **B** **Hechtstechen** **website**, Hosted 10-12 October in Dresden, DE * **A** **European Diplomacy Championship**, hosted 7-9 November in Leiden, NL ==== Virtual leagues held across the year ==== * **B** **Seven Years' War League**, online all along the year * **C** **Virtual Tour of Britain**, online all along the year ==== Competitions with date not already decided ==== * **C** **Paris Diplomacy Championship**, date to be decided (November) ==== Competitions yet to be confirmed ==== * **B** **Basque Country Diplomacy Championship**, to be confirmed ====== Linear distribution of points ====== The principle of linear distribution is the following if 100 point are distributed between 10 players -
